George Franklin Kline |
George Franklin Kline, 85, of Klamath Falls, died Tuesday at Rogue Valley Medical Center, Medford. A private service was held. Internment will be in Eagle Point National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the A-O-K Club, 550 South Eighth St., Klamath Falls, OR 97601.He was born May 19, 1917, in Blackwell, Okla. He moved to Medford in 1970 from Salinas, Calif., and to Klamath Falls, in 1987. Mr. Kline was a pressman at the Medford Mail Tribune, retiring in 1979.He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Kline was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Blackwell, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion in Klamath Falls. He enjoyed visiting with people.Survivors include a son, Harry Franklin, Eugene; a daughter, Barbara DeLuchi, Medford; a sister, Thelma, Springfield, Ill.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
